How to earn it? … glad you asked. 
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is
first, to figure out where the Community Playground site is. ( HINT )
Then you have to go over there and try out 10 things.
Examples:

Make a post in a public or private group

Vote in a poll
-
Reply to a post or a chat
-
Add an emoji
-
Check to see if you can access a specific group or do a certain thing

Customize something
-
Search for something
-
Check and make sure your badges or points came over

See if you can change your avatar or username
-
Note a feature that you like or that you can’t find
-
Spice up someone’s post
-
Turn on dark mode
-
Get up to some shenanigans (see important note below)
Just remember, it has to be 10 different things even if they are only slightly different. If you already know that you can post in a public group, then you have to try a private group for your next thing, or try a reply rather than starting a post. The goal is to try out different things and see if they break or how they are different from the current site.
Then, when you are finished testing, you need to do two more things:
- Post in the " Site Feedback " area on the Playground site and report your findings… what you tried that didn’t work how you expected it to, whether you love or hate it, etc. …
- Also post here, and then I will give you badges on both sites. The playground one isn’t live over there, but the Community Beta one is, so you’ll get that over there (and it will later disappear), but over here you’ll get the new badge and that will eventually move over.
[Note: if you see that your username / real name doesn’t match or looks strange and you don’t like it, see THIS post where you can post to get it fixed permanently. If you want it fixed on the playground site (temporary fix), just ping me over there.]
[Important Note: anything you do over on the playground during this testing period is going to be wiped at some point, so if you are really attached to a post over there, copy it over to the current site as well (that way it will survive and be moved over to the new site next time we do an import). This also means that you can write several things with garble or “test test” text and I won’t kick you off for spam… that just helps us test the moderation tools. So you can report a post or whatever as part of the 10 things as well. Once submissions become permanent, fewer shenanigan opportunities will be available, so get in the jokes while you can, although please still avoid anything not suitable for work… kind of a “feel free to play, but not to vandalize” sort of idea.]
This badge can be granted more than once, but only once per version of the playground. Those versions will be announced here: https://community.spiceworks.com/blogs/products , but note that the mission requirements might be different next time… we might need something specific tested, for instance.
