Offline device report showing incorrect.

New SW6b3 install completed earlier this afternoon is incorrectly reporting that one of our servers is offline per the below excerpt, but system was never offline.

Any Device is offline > 10 minutes (Servers group) Adjust this monitor

ttadbs has been offline for longer than 12 minutes

Please see alert settings in attached email.

I saw this mentioned in another thread. They said that n the second scan they turned online

I’m running beta 4 and have the same issue. It claims my email server is offline, but it still sends emails through it! Been this way ever since I installed beta 4.

Try using the new RC and see if it helps, it is supposed to fix these issues…

Installed the RC. Initiated a network scan. Perhaps the scan hasn’t completed yet, but my mail server still says offline.

I did find an error in my IP4 settings on the PC running Spiceworks (fixed of course), but for some reason that computer can’t ping the mail server but other computers (all on the same subnet) can. I’m rebooting the PC (remotely, I’m not on site) to see if the network issues clear. I want to make sure it’s not a Spiceworks issue.

OK, looks like the problem was with the computer. After the reboot it sees the server fine. Weird though, I know that computer was rebooted earlier this week, so maybe RC1 did fix the problem as well
