Full disclosure: I have taken more sick days this week than in the past ten years. But knowing so many depend on this little bit of exposure to the good, the bad and the ugly had me drag myself out of bed to ensure your Friday was not a disappointment. Well, actually some of these songs are strongly in the ugly category in my books. Best part is likely the cinematography in the Thomas Rhett video. Ok. I am going back to bed. Likely have to use my last sick day tomorrow cause I still feel BAD.

Wow, I’m so sorry you had to drag yourself out of bed for this…I hadn’t heard a single one of these and wouldn’t give any of them a second (or in some cases even a full first) listen with the exception of the Darius Rucker one. That one seems kinda nice and I might give it another go. Thanks (I think) for sharing, and hope you feel better soon!

I’m glad you are feeling better, as with most top 40 since the early 90s I’ve never heard any of these, although I know Darius Rucker was in Hootie and the Blowfish.
Best I can do for an alternative his is this one which got heavy airplay in 2017
