You could just use the export function within Outlook itself.

Generally when these types of questions arise it’s down to the fact that all they have is an OST file - no Outlook, no Exchange Server.

Is that the case for you, @hammadhussain ?

In which case they can download Office 2016 evaluation, install it to do the conversion, and then uninstall Office.

I thought the problem is you can’t attach an existing .ost file to a new Outlook profile unless the original server the .ost file was using is still online hence the frequent searches for converting tools.

There is no way to open an ost file from another computer or profile on Outlook 2016. Moving Exchange, pop3 and Imap profiles on Outlook 2013 and 2016 you need to export to a pst prior the migration.

.pst can be moved in the case of POP3 (and IMAP in older versions of Outlook).

Yes PST files can be moved, ost files not as far as I have tried and know for Outlook 2013 and 2016.

Yup. You need the Exchange account set up in Outlook to use an .ost file.

Plenty of people have been down this road already. There are no free ones that work. Cost is somewhere around $120 for the cheapest one out there that I’ve seen iirc.

You can try Lepide OST to PST converter that easily convert an OST file into PST format and exports them to a newly created PST.

MS Office 365 subscription has been expired therefore cant access exchange server thus cant export OST to PST using outlook!

Thanks dbeato for recommending Stellar Data Recovery. The Software is very easy to use & convert ost file into pst in few easy clicks. You can check software steps to convert ost file to pst from here: http://www.stellarinfo.com/support/kb/index.php/article/how-to-convert-ost-file-in-to-pst-file

@Stellar

So renew your Office 365 License, connect to Exchange and then Export your OST. Otherwise use the tools we recommended. Usually you will pay the same amount either way for Office 365 in a year and the software in one time.

Neither of your suggestions do what the OP needs. The first is a viewer only. The second is little more than instructions to export to .Pst from a functioning copy of Outlook that can already access the .OST.
