OK, , so my co-worker tripped on a step stool out side my office, and i teased him, so we kept trying to have each other trip on that stool, he once blocked my office in with boxes… He then tied a string to my door and then to metal shelving locking me in my office.

So I just got him back and put a picture of me as his wall paper. He got a good laugh out of it…

Now I want to make his computer talk to him (he claims it talked to him before), but I want it to be in my voice, somthing like you got mail or what ever. Is there a way to change the mail notifier in outlook or change the log in sound? I thought there was but I forget now. His computer is running XP Pro… Any other ideas to get him back would be good…

9 Spice ups

control panel, sounds and audio device, sounds tab. Have fun!

thanks, thats right. I forgot… i never really change my sound settings before, as i never really care… and yes, i will have some fun

One time I forgot to lock my work station and my co workers went to town. The opened up narrator, changed audio themes and my log out screen.

Lesson learned >.<

if you want to do it covertly you can see what file plays now in his audio scheme and name your voice file the same then replace his file with your file and it will play automatically, all can be done administratively. (if you are nice you will rename his sound file so it doesn’t get lost forever)

Make this his home page, and be sure to turn up his speakers as loud as possible:

Bwahhahahha Gold

If he isn’t a touch typist change a few of his keys around on his keyboard. Stay away from the common letters though, its too easy to spot.

Great, more pranks to go on my April fools day list

Don’t switch his keys, to easy to figure that out. You need to be less obvious. Instead take his key board apart and place small sheets of paper in random spots between the keys and the contacts. If he has any other keyboards near by do the same to them but don’t cover the same keys.

That should keep him busy for a while.

Set his screen saver so that it’s a Blue Screen of Death!

There’s always this classic - Use a screenshot of his desktop as his background image and hide all the icons and the taskbar so when he clicks anything, nothing happens.

Make this his wallpaper… or better yet, if he has a picture of his wife/girlfriend put this picture over it.

I used to catch people with their screens unlocked and change their background.

I would take the employee pic of that person every had on the intranet and put it in the center. Then around it would read. “I’ve been hacked because I don’t lock my computer.”

Depending on the person I might also send an email to them (as them) with something like…

“You didn’t lock your screen so I sent an email out to everyone as you. You are now taking everyone out to lunch next Tuesday.”

@Arranging Keys: If you’re going to do it this route, arrange the keys so they spell out something on the keyboard…like “Dumba$$”, etc.

@Changing Sounds: To really confuse him, rather than changing the sound sceme in windows, do this instead. Drill down to where all the audio files are saved (C:\Windows\Media) and save your new sound files there, renaming them to the exact names of the original Windows sound files. This way, when he tries to troubleshoot these sounds, he’ll go into the GUI for Windows Sounds and see that they all appear to be set correctly (no odd names for sounds.) I did this to a co-worker and he was convinced that there was some virus or rogue program installed on his PC. It took him almost 3 weeks to find the “Guy Vomiting”, “Girl Sex Moaning” and “Guy taking a pee in a toilet” sounds that I placed there.

My favorite is to change their internet homepage to either something very feminine, or just plain gross.

It’s great when you are sitting there and all of the sudden you hear “What the H$##$”.

They never leave their PC unlocked again.

If I see a computer unlocked I always send an e-mail from them to someone else in the business professing love and asking them out on a data.

5th one done in 3 weeks - there learning but slowly!

hehehe

Oh and always best to pick someone you know as the recipient then you make sure your in the loop for the fun and games and try make it realistic.

I once created a desktop theme based around red from “That 70’s Show”. It had this picture as the wallpaper

And the startup sound was him saying “You’re not unlucky. The reason that bad things happen to you, is because you’re a dumbass.”

EDIT: I forgot the best part. I put it on my boss’ computer.
