What is the safest way for a remote user to access a computer in our network? Our remote users typically use a VPN to connect but this user is unable to configure VPN on his computer. Is there a safe/secure program like GOTOMYPC that he can use to connect at anytime using login credentials?

Why can they not configure a VPN? Not that I am recommending that, just wondering what the issue is.

Yes, programs like GoToMyPC, TeamViewer, RDP, NX, ScreenConnect, LogMeIn, etc. all work for this.

They are on a virtual machine it when they tried to configure it, it doesn’t allow them to.

Is GOTOMYPC safe if we left it on 24/7?

Jim- sorry for my late response, but yes, TeamViewer can definitely do this for you! You can set up permanent access for your user, as TeamViewer lets you manage devices with policy-based settings, even when they are offline, or enable secure access controls to connect to devices without the need for a password.
