Remote site

I am new to Spiceworks (a few days) and I am trying to set up remote sites. I can’t seem to connect to the central server. For testing I put the central server computer on the DMZ and still no luck. What ever I do I still get “The server is not responding”

Can you view each of the Spiceworks installs from the other server? I.E. you can browse to install 1 from the pc with install 2 and visa-versa

No. The remote site is over the Internet. Do I need a vpn between the sites? I thought I could set up ip addresses and ports. Is this not true?
