I can do a backup of Spiceworks but I recently tried a restore of it because I moved SpiceWorks to another machine. I do not see a restore option. Is there one in the works so I can do a clean install, click Restore and point to my restore directory?

{"@type":"Person
{"@type":"Answer

I have not found a fix but have found a workaround. After installing spiceworks you have to copy the entire C:\\Program Files\\Spiceworks directory from the old server to the new and it will then work fine. So far so good.

{"@type":"Person
[{"@type":"Answer

From what I know, there is no “button” to restore a DB so try this

go to the backup directory (usually C:/Program Files/Spiceworks/backup)

locate the newest zip file (eg spiceworks-backup-[Vx.x.xxxxxx-[Newest-DA-TE].zip)

extract it, then copy the files to the SW app folder (usually C:\\Program Files\\Spiceworks) replacing everything

{"@type":"Person
skytech1895
https://community.spiceworks.com/u/skytech1895"}},{"@type":"Answer
