I get these scan errors on some of my computers and if I go and manually scant them they scan fine. Ahy ideas?

Sorry, the picture that I posted did not come through. The errors are the standard “No open ports for this device were found to be responding”

I believe the error you are experiencing is usually related to a firewall, or possibly antivirus blocking the scan. Here is a little more information in regards to the specific error. It may also be related to WMI not being properly configured on the host.

Also, if you haven’t reviewed documentation on How SpiceWorks scanning works THIS may also prove helpful.

Thank you for all of the information. I guess where my confusion comes in is when I can manually scan and it works. I really cannot figure that one out.

I have not gotten anywhere with this problem. I can still manually scan and they work, but then they fall off again when the sysem scans.
