I tried to convince the boss that since our salary was based on 365 days that we should either have the day off or receive a bonus check, he agreed and suggested that I go talk to the CEO … I think I’ll let this one slip off of my agenda.

Normalcy abounds, everywhere but in my mind though … I don’t know, it’s just the 29th February, the day I donate since I’m salaried.

Well, that’s why being salaried is a disadvantage to hourly paid.

I had an awesome day…

Had to head to the dentist to replace my temp crown (it fell off last night), they fitted me with the permanent because it was in early.
Hit mostly green lights.
Finished up a cabling job without much fuss (seemed like every wire I grabbed was the next one I needed).
And most importantly, the phone didn’t ring.

Really felt like today was balancing out any of the other ‘off’ days one experiences.
