Just wondering what everyone uses (other than Spiceworks) for Social Networking? Do you use Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIN or something else on a daily basis?

7 Spice ups

facebook more than a few times a week. I never really understood twitter, but i do know that our marketing dept. uses it a lot.

Facebook and Twitter.

I have a LinkedIn account but don’t really see that as social networking, more professional and haven’t put any time into it to figure out anyway.

For work - Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn are the big three. For personal use, I also hang out on Slashdot, Reddit and a few other places.

-=points=- REDDITOR!

Oh yeah, and I don’t have a facebook. I’m actually quite proud of that. Down with Zuckernet! VIVA LE REVOLUTION!

Good Lord no!

Nothing for my 9-to-5 job. For the ghost hunting I primarily use Facebook. Personally I have a FB and a Twitter and jump between the two.

I’m on Facebook and Digg all the time.

Please clarify.

He’s talking about Nic being a redditor, I think

I am a Redditor too… although I have never publicly divulged any of my user names

I call my friends on the phone, text or meet them in person. I’m generally not interested in what most of the rest of the world had for lunch.

Well, there is the account I’ll tell you is mine  Part of the beauty of Reddit is good crowd-sourced moderation combined with anonymity. You don’t even have to have an email address to create a throwaway account.

I use LinkedIn and a couple Google Groups for work. Personally I use Twitter and Facebook.

@ work: facebook, XING ( www.xing.com )

@home: Stayfriends, Stadthunde.com

We’ve been experimenting with Facebook, Twitter, a blog, and Youtube with our company. We’ve been working on these channels for a couple years now and we’re now finally starting to see some payoffs, especially on Facebook and Youtube. We haven’t seen much benefit from Twitter yet.

fb and g+

fb for most of my face2face friends. g+… still evolving.

I heard that something like 75% of the people on Google+ are IT people. Makes sense that the early adopters of this technology are technology folks.

I still have a facebook account, but i only log in every few days to see if everyone in the family is still alive.

Actually, there have been several reports that during the all too frequent natural disasters that the US has been experiencing this year (tornadoes, earthquakes, & hurricanes), people have been able to maintain contact via social media like Facebook, since cellular coverage can be spotty and land lines have been down, which is pretty cool, if you ask me.
