I am having great difficulty getting a decent clean report back from software, the main culprit is Project 2007<\/p>\n
It is not finding it on some workstations, is on others, and is coming up as Microsoft office Project Professional when it does.<\/p>\n
Is there any way i can force it to search for more software or ask spiceworks to scan for the words project in its scan for software?<\/p>\n
I have had to resort to a manual inventory meanwhile.<\/p>\n

SW looks in the registry which can be problematic. Some software doesn’t register itself correctly. Others don’t uninstall cleanly. Here is more information on how the software discovery works. Hope this helps:<\/p>\n
