Hello all! I’m coming across a weird issue in my Spiceworks inventory. I have around 500 machines inventoried and I’d say 2/3 of them are showing the installed software. However 1/3 of them says “No Software Found”. When I press the “rescan” button it doesn’t help. I am running the latest version of Spiceworks. Any ideas on how to fix this issue with the machines that are not scanning software?

  1. Make sure file and printer sharing is enabled in network sharing centre

  2. Run a Command Prompt as Administrator on the machine that is failing, and enter / paste the following (without quotes):
    "netsh advfirewall firewall set rule group=“windows management instrumentation (WMI)” new enable=Ye

  3. Run the attached on each machine (try one first) this enabled UAC elevation from the remote machine
