I wonder how much I’d make if I drew a portrait of myself, but without a beard.

My YouTube song of the morning is one I didn’t know I needed… but it is now eating up space in my brain, rent-free.

I’m not actually familiar with “Push Up” by Creeds, and I think this was a thing over a year ago, but its been promoted to me in TikTok and YouTube lately, so I finally listened. Now I need to find the full version. :metal:

Also, today appears to be National Carbonated Beverage With Caffeine Day :cup_with_straw:. I didn’t know that was a thing, but I shouldn’t be surprised as there is practically a day for everything these days, right? This is probably a day I would have celebrated a lot in my old raiding and PvPing all night days (and also working since I was more a night owl worker then)… Jolt, Dr. Pepper, Mountain Dew, and Red Bull got me through many a night!

For that grumpy IT person, today is the day to celebrate!

Bring on the Mountain Dew! Braaawwwrrr! (I already had one, as you can tell.)

Bullwinkle was an awesome cartoon funny for the kids with enough hidden humor for their parents. BTW the 1914 Apperson Jackrabbit is a real car, and has a rabbit hood ornament.
XKCD is funny and in honor of Lewis and Clark

I wonder if he ever did Portrait of the Artist Without Ear…

Van Gogh did a self portrait with a bandage on his ear.

1863 – US President Abraham Lincoln delivers his Gettysburg address beginning; “Four score and seven years ago…”

And ending it with, “Be excellent to each other, and… PARTY ON, DUDES!”

I used to like Rocky & Bullwinkle. Haven’t seen them for years though. Wonder if I’d still find them funny…

You can actually get paid to occasionally write a poem?
Charles the Third, a modern king,
A man of taste, a curious thing.
He gardens, paints, and writes with zeal,
A royal Renaissance, quite a deal.

He sips his tea, a dainty sight,
A gentle soul, a guiding light.
But when he speaks, a nation hears,
A voice of wisdom, calming fears.

A king of eco-conscious mind,
A greener future, humankind.
He’ll plant a tree, a noble quest,
A legacy of nature’s best.

So let us bow, with humble grace,
To Charles the Third, a royal case.
A king for now, a king for all,
A modern monarch, standing tall.

National Dr Pepper Day should be 10/02

Inspirobot, seeing how the “younger” Millennial generation is starting to become the bulk of the workforce; I’ve definitely noticed a shift in generational power. That said, moths are yucky and I don’t like them. You ever smoosh a moth and it leaves all that moth powder behind? Gross.
