I have installed Spiceworks beta on a different machine and ahve copied my 3.6 database on to it. When I launch Spiceworks it gets about 3/4 loaded and hangs. When I copied my database over to the beta, I did a backup of my data then setup the beta to work on the same port as my 3.6 version. I then copied the db and data folders into the beta before I even started it the first time.

Please run the spiceworks_package.exe and it will create a zip file. You should email the zip file to beta@spiceworks.com . Mention in the email that Connie requested this file and include this post number. We had a few similar issues that was due to the users data triggering a bug in the update process. I will need your log files to confirm this is the problem you are having.
