Ok The new dashboard in 7.4 is nice. It looks great. But it is totally useless!!!. I cant see my open tickets I cant see my timeline etc… The graphs are nice but I cant click on anything to go to my tickets. The only work around I have found is to click settings - all then click dashboard again at the top banner and the old dashboard comes back

Any suggestions?

Click on that bunch of blocks next to APPS on the black line at the top. It will drop down a menu for Inventory, Help Desk Product Reviews and App Center.

Agreed, all of our tools that we setup on our dashboards are now gone? Am i missing something?? I do like the new look and i even like the data that it shows, but i want to see the stuff i put there too?

Just found my original dashboard, If you click “Inventory” then click dashboard you will see your dashboard. If you then go to Helpdesk, and click Dashboard you will see the ticket dashboard.

My personal opinion, your “Dashboard” is your Dashboard. There shouldn’t be 2. Unless you give the option to view one or the other.

What i mean is, whether i’m in Helpdesk, Inventory, or in the community the Dashboard link should exist to take you to your dashboard. Then when your are on your dashboard page, you then have the option to change Dashboards.

Agree this could be confusing but im seeing it as ticket dashboard and ther other dashboard is my dashboard dashboard, another name would probably help but personally i dont use the dashboard that might right now.

For what its worth, there is a plugin out there that will add a drop down list on the dashboard link. It will allow you to choose from Help Desk and Inventory dashboards. Its the NavBar plugin: https://community.spiceworks.com/appcenter/app/plugin_1639
