I just installed Spiceworks on the server. Installed the agent on one Win 7 computer.<\/p>\n
I’m picking up general info, but that’s all (even though some of it is incorrect. Nothing under configuration, software, network shares. Nothing.<\/p>\n
I have verified remote WMI works. Local WMI works. I can ping the computer. I ran the unknown tool on the Win 7 computer and that fixed something w/the firewall.<\/p>\n
I’ve run scan the computer from the Spiceworks server software. I’ve run the scan from the agent installed on the local computer. Nothing. What am I missing here? I’ve looked over about 20 webpages about do this/do that…nothing worked. What can I do to get inventory??<\/p>\n
EDIT<\/strong>: Just as a test, I scanned a random desktop using PDQ Inventory. Picked up everything on that computer. Every bit of info. Spiceworks though - not picking up anything. Could it be related to the computer name having a dash in it?
