Hi

please my spiceworks network scan does not succeed with my domain client computers. I use domain credentials to access them but i spiceworks does not succeed. What can i do to resolve this? When i go to any of the computers, with WMI service started, i try to fix using http://name_of_spiceserver:8080/fix nothing works. The page will return unavailable.

Please help so that i can inventoried all my desktops.

Are you making sure that you are using an account that has admin rights to all of these desktop computers?

Yes DMH,

Thank you for your reply. My account is a domain administrator account and i has also tried the enterprise builtin domain admin account, yet connection to the computers failed.

Dear Techs,

i haven’t still succeeded in scanning my network with my domain admin account. I need to have access to these computers so that i can monitor them using spiceworks. I must confess it’s a great tool, and i want to use it too for ticketing. Please help.

Thank you

Dear Techs,

I haven’t succeeded in scanning all my laptops and desktops. I can only scan servers easily but other clients, NO. Ever since I wrote no one has given me a favourable response. Secondly, when I use the method specified; http://spicewkserver:80/fix , the resulting page that opens asks me a question, “Which computer are you presently on?” To my surprise, the computer I used to sign in to the spiceworks server does not appear in the list of computers/devices shown. So, how do I reply to that question or continue the fixing process?

Thank you
