I’ve had Spiceworks running on a server for several years. last week it quit running. When I would hit the web interface, it said it was chopping the peppers, but it never came up. I backed up the database, uninstalled, downloaded the latest, and reinstalled. Now it is stuck on Starting Spiceworks Desktop. It’s been there for 24 hours.<\/p>\n
I am running Server 2008R2 on a VM. Like I said, its been running for several years, and then it quit. I have not run any updates recently. The server is fine, but Spiceworks isn’t.<\/p>\n

Have you just closed the browser and opened it back up? It was a known bug starting with 7.x I believe that it would sometimes happen.
