“It can’t be bargained with. It can’t be reasoned with. It doesn’t feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And it absolutely will not stop, ever, even with the boxes unchecked.”

I just upgraded to SpiceWorks 6 last night, and it’s been sending me the “Any web domain cannot be reached” alert several times an hour. I clicked on the “Adjust this monitor” link in the email and unchecked the “Email” and the “Enabled” checkboxes, and saved it, but am still receiving the alerts. I even checked, saved and then unchecked and saved again.

The domain that isn’t responding is of course our own, which has external pinging turned off.

What am I missing?? This should be an easy fix.

Hi Don,

There are a few latency issues that are causing this issue but it should clear up if you have turned off the domain alert.

OK, thanks Brandon. I’ll keep you posted.

Yes, it did stop, just needed to be a little patient. Thanks.
