Hey folks, I’m Rhonda. I recently joined Spiceworks as the VP of Content & Audience. What better way to say hello than to bring y’all a fantastic announcement: we’ve locked in dates for SpiceWorld 2024!

  • What? SpiceWorld 2024
  • When? Wednesday, November 13th & Thursday, November 14th, 2024
  • Where? AT&T Conference Center, Austin, Texas
  • Pricing? Once registration opens, tickets will be $149 for up to 30 days as an Early Bird Special.
  • After 30 days, the price will change to $299 and climb to $599 by November 1.
  • Guest Passes will be available for $100 for after-hour festivities.

We’ll share more soon, but we wanted to give you a heads-up so you can save the date and start planning. Keep up with the event details:

I only wish there were a UK event. As much as I’d love to go, I don’t think my company will agree it’s a worthwhile investment to send me across the pond!

I don’t suppose there’s any chance of reviving the “Virtual” attendance option for those of us who can’t afford the time or money to travel thousands of miles but would still like to feel part of Spiceworks?

There won’t be a way for you to see the sessions at the same time, but we are looking into options for non-attendees. I promise to follow up with the planning committee about this.

it looks like it’s only a day and a half. If it was still at least a 3 day event, it would be worth the travel, but am not sure business would expense travel etc for a day and a bit event all the way out in TX at this point. If there was something closer on east coast that’s that long, maybe, but out in TX, probably not at this point.

Good,
Virtual conferences are a money sink with little return to the vendor, sponsors, or the attendees. That said, getting something recorded and posting sessions later is a great thing IMO.
