Spicy boi levels.

Hey guys,

i was wondering as i have seen quite a few capsaicin ranks floating around. Will there be ranks for the stuff that’s hotter than this? Obviously not for me as a luke warm poblano but for the top people to keep going. The two new levels i propose would be:

Tinyatoxin - 5,300,000,000 SHU
Resiniferatoxin - 16,000,000,000 SHU

These two are incredibly hot. The colours for these would be debatable as black is already taken. Just a thought because i love the ranking system based on how much you have helped. It really gives you another great reason to assist others.

What do you guys think? Has spiciness gone too far? Or do you agree to more levels for the top spiceheads?

I think this was discussed a few years back, and with how (relatively) rare the PC’s already are, there isn’t much pressure at all for it.

While anything with the word ‘toxin’ sounds metal, at this point, the capsaisin climb is already an arduous task. I would leave it, I expect I’ll probably need a bot to post for me if I want to get to capsaisin before I die.

It might be good but once you have over 250K points you have spent quite a bit of time on posting and it might be good for others to keep posting. I have been trying to do that so others also get the chance like others and I did.

I think the current ranks are good as they are, but maybe having some kind of recognition for people who’ve gone above Pure Capsaicin would be cool, such as adding a star beside their rank for each time the’ve double the amount required for the previous, 1 star at 500k points, 2 at 1m, 3 at 2m, etc.

There are already so few people with that amount of points that I don’t think it would make much sense, though. The only person I really see still posting often with the Pure Capsaicin rank is dbeato. Granted, I’ve only been active here for a few weeks…
