3 Spice ups

Your machine needs to be 64bit and not be windows 10, and you need net framework 4.5.2 installed. Can you confirm

1 Spice up

Just checked. I have Windows 7 but it’s a 32 bit os, I guess thats my problem. I have installed Spiceworks Desktop though. I suppose Spiceworks Desktop runs on 32 bit OS.

Thanks for the reply.

Spiceworks desktop is a 32bit app, network monitor is a 64bit app.

Some additional information though.

Both Spiceworks desktop/inventory/helpdesk (the same package) and network monitor should NOT be installed on the same server/OS/VM they can both be demanding and should be installed on their own server.

In addition to this because they can be demanding it is not advised to install it on the machine you use daily, installing it on a dedicated box is best

Thanks for that, very useful to know starting out.
