I am trying to install the new Network Monitor Beta & I am unable to. I get an error that says “One or more issues caused the setup to fail. Please fix the issues and then retry setup. For more information see the log file.” I’ve attached the log file in the hopes that you can help me find what I’m missing as far as what problems to fix.

2 Spice ups

I did not see a reference (in the log) to see what bit version of Windows 7 you are trying to install it on ?

Can you verify that your box is a 64 bit version (required) of Windows 7 ?

Plus of course the other requirements for memory and drive space and such.

1 Spice up

Sorry about that… box has the following:

  • AMD Phenom II X3 B73 2.8 GHz processor
  • 8 GB RAM
  • 7.15 GB free hdd space
  • Windows 7 Pro 64-bit
  • .NET 4.5.1

So… still not sure why it won’t install

It’s amazing that one of the Spiceworks technicians hasn’t chimed in on this ?

Maybe they will read this comment and reply ?

Hope so. We’d really like to test this thing out as it would be a GREAT tool for us… 2 man shop supporting 5 locations all over northern & central New Jersey. Would definitely make our lives easier… but not if we can’t install it.

Did you happen to have a prior beta installed?

Nope. First try

PM’d you to try to setup a screen share time…
