I recently pushed a series of UDM Pros into production and the topology viewer does not seem to be working at my primary location after I connected a few unmanaged PoE switches to a distribution switch I have connected to the UDM.

This goes for both the web interface via IP and for Unifi Site manager. None of the clients are viewable via the topology viewer but they do appear in the client devices section and no connectivity issues have been reported.

Already running the latest version of Unifi OS and Network so not sure what’s at play here. Any of you had this happen with your Unifi deployments?

UniFi, for all its good points, has historically not been super reliable where the topology feature is concerned. It’s much better now than in past versions but can still be flaky. I’d try a reboot of the Network app and APs first.

Still, cause and effect, it worked, plugged in things, connected things
stopped working.
I wonder if the routing did in fact change in some subtle way and now the viewer
can’t reach anything…
