Very quick question (and have probably answered my own question) with regards to Unitrends backup and free (unlicensed) Xenserver.

Downloaded Unitrends after seeing the Spiceworks link and being recommended previously. Decided to give it a go, but on trying to add Virtual Appliances, I get the following error:

" Failed to save client: Registration for client XEN01 failed. This version of Xen is not supported."

Does Unitrends V10.0.0.-5 support Xenserver 7.2?

Only info I can find regarding compatibility is here . But doesn’t link to patches detailed and was posted 4-5 months ago.

If not, worth rolling back to 6.5?

Thanks in advance.

{"@type":"Person
{"@type":"Answer
Laurence - We currently support XenServer up to 7.1. As you noted in that article, 7.2 is expected soon, however, there have been some delays on making this support GA. Additionally, the Deployment Guide for Unitrends Backup for XenServer is another great resource for those that are looking to deploy on this OS.
