Is there a SW User group in Indianapolis?

Yes there is. We have not yet had a meeting but we had our first meeting scheduled for last Thursday. Unfortunately we had to cancel but will be scheduling one for sometime in January. Several potential sites were recommended and I offered our largest meeting room here where I work at 30th & Shadeland. We have wireless, a stage, overhead projector and screen, and room for approximately 100 people.

Stay tuned and I’ll try to give a few weeks notice for the next meeting.

Enter on the north side of the building under the awning.

The room has chairs and tables available, seats approximately 100, has WiFi access to the internet, and there is also a projector and stage available.

I just got done trading PM’s with rwight142 and it looks like Shavlik will be sponsoring your first meeting. That being said I need to find out what you guys are hungry for, so far we’re thinking pizza and soft drinks but if anybody has a better idea please let me know. Also, please let other Spiceworks users in the area know about this so we can get the first Indianapolis meeting kicked off right! The more the merrier, I look forward to seeing the turnout.

And the meeting, last night, was GREAT! I really enjoyed the chance to meet with other spiceheads. I hope we can do this again, soon. Personally, I like the idea of quarterly meetings, though alternating months would not be bad. One item of curiosity, though, I think a suggestion of topics might be a good idea.

HelpDesk customization
Scripting and customization
Creation of Plugins
