Hi all,

Does anyone have experience with the Xerox C235 and have managed to set up scan to folder?
having problems getting it set up.
error: Unable to authenticate the server

How are you trying to do it? I do not have experience with that printer exactly but Xerox printers as a whole. Here is a document that we use to set this up. The only change that you will need to make is when it says to create a teacher account you will need to create something that makes sense for you. Also, the settings pages for your printer may be different but they tend to be similar across models.

I try to use SMB, if you see this link ServiceNow you get more info :slight_smile:

It is FTP. About 5 years ago we started having issues with smb failing. Our Xerox rep at the time recommended using FTP, so we have used it ever since.

That’s fine.

The device needs to use Unix directory paths so make sure you’re adding the server in as //server/share instead of using Windows style backslashes.
