Announcing Our 2024 Kendra Smith Scholarship Recipient!

We’re proud to introduce Emily Jemison, the inaugural recipient of The First Nation Group Foundation’s Kendra Smith Scholarship. A senior at Wheeler High School, Emily will attend Duke University this fall to study Molecular and Cellular Biology – a path inspired by her passion for healthcare and helping others. “I look forward to continuing the legacy of Kendra Smith,” she shared.

This scholarship honors the memory of Kendra Smith, a beloved member of the First Nation Group family, by empowering future healthcare leaders like Emily.
