2024 #TOGETHERSTRONG Recognition Award

First Nation Group is proud to announce the two outstanding individuals selected for the 2024 #TOGETHERSTRONG Recognition Award, Jasmine Montes and Mike Vesy!

This peer-to-peer nominated award celebrates excellence and recognizes employees who not only sustainably lead and live the First Nation Group core values but are dedicated to consistently going above and beyond as well.

Jasmine Montes

As a key member of our Customer Operations team, Jasmine Montes, Customer Support Representative, plays a vital role in ensuring our customers – Veterans, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) personnel, and internal departments, receive the highest level of service. Her dedication to managing telephone and email inquiries, processing orders, and maintaining clear communication across various teams is integral to our success. Jasmine’s unwavering commitment to accuracy, responsiveness, and teamwork has made her an invaluable asset to both her colleagues and the Veterans we serve.

Jasmine is a true reflection of First Nation Group’s mission, vision, and core values. From volunteering her time with our Local Challenge team at the McGregor Clinic to showing up with enthusiasm for our Day of Service events, Jasmine inspires the whole team to give back with both their hands and hearts. Outside of work, she also spends time volunteering at the Gulf Coast Humane Society, helping furry friends in need. Jasmine’s dedication and positive spirit make her a standout member of our team.

Mike Vesy

Mike Vesy, Inventory + Receiving Technician, is an outstanding member of the First Nation Group family. As a vital part of our warehouse team, Mike ensures that everything runs smoothly behind the scenes – keeping our warehouse organized, inventory discrepancies to a minimum, and shipments flowing efficiently. From managing incoming deliveries to meticulously ensuring all products are labeled, stored, and tracked properly, Mike’s attention to detail has had a huge impact on our operations.

In addition to his exceptional work here at First Nation Group, Mike also dedicates his time to giving back in his community. Every week, he volunteers at his local church, Fountain of Youth Ministry, where he helps with administrative tasks to support the church’s mission. His commitment to service extends beyond his local community – Mike also volunteers with First Nation Group, always stepping up to assist in any way he can. One of the most memorable highlights was the opportunity for him to attend the National Disabled Veterans Winter Sports Clinic (NDVWSC), where he was able to contribute to the well-being of Veterans while participating in a truly inspiring event.

To be nominated for the annual #TOGETHERSTRONG Recognition Award, employees are required to have served a minimum of one year with First Nation Group. They demonstrate, in and out of the office, trust, generosity, unity, dedication, and compassion, the founding principles of First Nation Group’s values. These employees have shown they are dependable, exhibit superior customer service, positively represent the company, and remain an active participant in both First Nation Group’s charitable giving activities as well as in their very own communities.

First Nation Group is proud to honor both Jasmine Montes and Mike Vesy as well as each of the 2024 nominees through this employee recognition award.
