Kennedy Nilsson, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of First Nation Group, has been a driving force within the organization since joining in 2019. With a distinguished military background and extensive leadership experience, Nilsson brings a wealth of knowledge and a unique perspective to his role. As CEO, he focuses on steering First Nation Group’s vision, fostering innovation, and strengthening its commitment to serving Veterans, active-duty military, and underserved communities.

A Captain in the United States Army Reserves, Nilsson’s leadership is defined by his ability to standardize operational procedures, execute complex strategies, and manage large-scale initiatives. During his 2021 deployment as Platoon Leader and Contract Officer Representative for the 766 Engineer Company, he managed 41 Army construction projects in Jordan, ensuring timelines, contract compliance, and quality standards were met.

Prior to his tenure at First Nation Group, Nilsson spent seven years at Raymond James, where he excelled as a Financial Advisor. His expertise in investment planning, portfolio management, and client engagement has set the foundation for his analytical approach to corporate leadership.

Nilsson holds both a B.S. and M.S. in Finance from Florida State University. Outside of his professional endeavors, he dedicates time to his farm, nurturing exotic fruit trees, and caring for animals. He also enjoys extreme sports like kiteboarding, biking, and taking on home improvement projects.
