Mindy Walker Vukmer

Mindy Walker Vukmer joined First Nation Group in 2018, overseeing corporate marketing, branding, and communications, with a focus on multi-channel marketing and partner engagement. In addition, Vukmer leads all charitable giving efforts including employee and workplace giving and community engagement, working one-on-one with nonprofit partners to support Veterans, military families, and the underserved in areas where First Nation Group operates.
Prior to joining First Nation Group, Vukmer played an instrumental role in diversifying and growing Paralyzed Veterans of America’s corporate and venture philanthropy efforts as the Sr. Director of Corporate Development and Venture Philanthropy. Working hand-in-hand with Fortune 500 companies, she maximized fundraising growth through a variety of fundraising efforts and secured the largest corporate gift in the history of the organization during her tenure.
Vukmer is a graduate of East Carolina University, with an undergraduate degree in Merchandising and Business and a master’s degree in Exercise Sports Science (Sports Management). In 2017, she was presented with the prestigious East Carolina University “40 Under 40” Leadership Award from her alma mater. Mindy Vukmer resides in Hillsborough, North Carolina, and hikes every weekend with her family, and loves being at the beach!
