Hey all, I’m loving the new look for spiceworks and everything seems better compacted and easier to navigate. I do however miss the pepper to spice comments up :(. I’ve seen a lot of other spiceheads mention this as well.

Are their any hopes for its return? Maybe if we spice this post up enough the powers that be may take it into consideration

You can spice up comments still, it is under the comment, next to reply. It does not show up anywhere near as easily, but it is there.

Sure, I can vote to bring it back.

I agree. Just having the word Spice is not the same as the pepper.

SpiceRex would be upset for sure.

The peppers were cool, we miss them. And the flags. The flags gave Spiceworks a global feel.

New location just takes getting used to, is all.

Big back the pepper!

I like the pepper also, Spice is like a seasoning not hot at all.

Do a search on the page for “Spice”. It is there.

Sounds like something Microsoft would say. “Just get used to it”.

I wouldn’t even mind if they put the little pepper where they currently have the “spice” clicky at right now. just as long as it’s the cool little pepper i’m used to lol

I’d like to spice this up… what was the point of moving and taking away the pepper? It was easy to find before… now it take more work to find the word spice and it makes each post taller vertically which means I have to scroll more.

I’d like to see the “Started using Spiceworks” version button and the flags. This helps give me an idea of how long someone has been using SW and where they are located. If they started using it at 4.2 then I figure they have a little better idea of what they are talking about. I like the flags because it helps differentiate localized topics, like HR issues in the UK, which I know nothing about.

Yes, I agree with Dave, having the version that they started with as well as the flag, helps to determine what level they are at, and how to address the questions that they have.

plus it looks nice seeing all those ‘badges’…

speaking of which, i need to go get a picture of a badger to get a love of badger badge…

I would like the pepper back as well!

Please?

Flags, versions, and badges I can deal with the hovering, no biggie. The pepper was a nice visual touch.

Agreed. Miss the lil pepper and being able to see “erry1” flying their (freak) flag. Spice is…the spice of life amirite???
