For the life of me I can not figure out how to remove a created EPO task. I was trying to deploy software and by mistake added it to a auto update list under group exchange organizer or something like that, and not under auto update and task it lists to BS tasks I made up and there is no way to remove them. Does anyone know if there is a way to delete these tasks I do not want, you can view the task but the items are grayed out and no delete button. If anyone can shed any light on removing these blank created tasks I would be thrilled, I have spent hours fooling around and trying to Google a solution with no avail. For my company this is not good to have tasks like this because if my boss sees them he will ask me why the hell I added these tasks in there. It was a mistake but I really want to know how to remove them and get rid of them. To further clarify things I believe the product is group auto update then auto update for and task names is what I want to delete.

{"@type":"Person
{"@type":"Answer

What version of ePO are you running? How many endpoints do you manage from ePO?

To clarify do you have a serve automation task or clent task that is stuck and not deletable?

Culd your permission set be limting you? Are you a Global Admin or do you have more restrictive set?

It could be that the database has an issue. Are you abe to stop and restart the database and assumnig it is local to the ePO server also cause a restart in the ePO server services?

Lastly, are you using the same ePO account when you attempt to remove the tasks?

{"@type":"Person
seanslattery
https://community.spiceworks.com/u/seanslattery"}}]}}
