My wife will love this one.

I would get that from people at a place I worked 2 jobs ago. My response would be, I left here at 4am in the morning. I’ve already put in 4 hours today. How long have you been in this morning?

Yeah, that sounds about right to me…

I have a VP do that to me one time (final frame) except I was leaving at 7 AM when he came in.

Haven’t programmed too much since college, but I understand the struggle.

I completely and utterly refuse to let my job take over my life. I’ll be on call, but i’m not putting my life on hold for a computer issue. I really feel for those that don’t have that option, it must suck, especially with a family.

I have never worked anywhere that questioned my comings and goings as they know my work ethics.

Right!? This is cute and all, but seriously, F that “boss”!! Micromanage me and I walk!

Oh pooo… they never show the last clip. “The one with the boss/manager bent over with the laptop shoved deep in his ass”

Wow – it’s always a shame when that type of person is put in a management position and dissuades hard workers from staying long.

Sounds about right.

It’s not usually management that questions comings and goings but rather smart ass employees that feel the need to stick it to IT when they can.

I agree. And I’ve done that! Is the grass really greener all the way over there? - A cautionary tale .

^^^This right there!

user: “Must be nice to be in IT and show up 30 mins late.”

me: “since my phone alerts started at 4am and i was dialed into the network by 4:15am to get the database back online so you can do your job at 8am, yeah it’s nice to be in IT.”

Sounds like someone’s begging to have the user folder cleaned out.

@Anthony What is more irritating is that you know some of them are not kidding. “Must be nice to work an 8 hour day”.

… been there … seen it … done it … not impressed.

Just another day…

I’ve had some things like that start some project like 2 hrs before you normally leave, something blows up on you and then you end up staying another .5 -1hr. Granted maybe not as bad as some things but I’m like this should be so simple it should take like 15 minutes and then it decided to be dumb and break and nothing you do changes it then reboot it and it fixes itself.
