Ever feel like that? If you said no, I suggest you re-evaluate your mental health.
As for me, it’s not because I am burned out, don’t like my job or too tired, it’s because today is the last day of work before having 19 days off from work, 12 of those days actually being work days and all paid time off. Better yet, this paid time off does not come out of our personal paid time off pool, but is paid for by the college. Yes, there are many nice perks working here.
OK, now that I have given you the reason I don’t want to be here, I have tasks to complete before I can leave this afternoon.

If you have tasks to complete, get off the internet and get them done so you can enjoy your time off!

your tasks better only include, walking around and talking to users, occupying the single person restroom, drinking coffee, and browsing spiceworks. Don’t make any changes before you leave!

You better get those printers working before you leave

Same boat. My last day in the office for the year. It’s PTO, but I have 4+ weeks to burn through.
I’ll likely end up working from home some of the time, but it beats driving to the office every day.
Enjoy the time off.

Unfortunately, this is the one biggie I need to do.

Wish I had all that time off. I just switched jobs in May so my PTO pool is looking pretty shallow
On the bright side that job switch did get me a hefty bump in pay.

I can feel the beginnings of some kind of cold\flu.

I have re-evaulated my mental health as per your request. I still suffer from a very real mental health issue. Thanks for making a frivilous statement about mental health issues.
Just kidding, although I do suffer I know that you mean no offence by it. Be careful though, some people really do get upset about people making jokes about mental health. (I fell foul of this myself a few weeks ago.)

Came here to say this. I don’t feel like working every day. I need to win the lottery.

With that in my immediate future, I will be feeling kind of sluggish too. Now, as the others have mentioned, the sooner you get whatever remains to be completed out of your way, the more time you’ll have to relax. Enjoy the super long vacation and may you enjoy a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year!

I’ve definitely had those days, it’s been happening more recently, I think just because of the weather and time of year. Sometimes, it’s best to just take some mental health days if you can, it makes it easier to get back into work, at least for me.
