(The former “Official” Thread has been going since 2011, and it is getting close to 10,000 posts, which is where the new site will cut it off anyway, so I thought I would get ahead of the game, since we are doing a new automated message when people level up.)

Me? I recently made Mace. Took me over 5 years to get that far.

Currently at Tabasco. Took me 8 years to get to this point. Kinda like in real life where it took me forever to build up my tolerance for hot sauce / peppers. Now I put hot sauce on everything!

Been Habanero for a while now but the gaps between the levels are very big now - the “old” portal used to show how many points you needed for the next level but I can’t find it on the new one.

Habanero. Took about a decade to get here, and I don’t know how long it will be before I level up, but I’m pretty sure I’ll never make PC.

Moved up fairly quickly to Thai, then languished there for a couple of years, and just recently made it to datil. I figure I’ll be retired before I make Habanero.

It used to be in the My account area that is now the profile area. I think it may have been a link in there to an FAQ. I couldn’t find it anywhere so I did a search for “Spicework’s points” and it was the first result.

It looked very similar to Z’s post above. Considering there are no longer colors next to our name like it used to be (caspacian was black, green was level 1 and orangish red was inbetween), I think they just scrapped that page and Sean posted this for reference.

It took me over 10 years to make it to Datil! I’m sure I will be retired long before I make another pepper level. :hot_pepper:

Do you use the “custom sections” feature for the left sidebar? I’ve got a few different custom sections including this one that had the links I used regularly for the UDTQ:

I’ve found it to be pretty handy for saving stuff that I know I need to revisit. :slight_smile:

serrano not sure how fast i’ll level up again.

not to be THAT guy but i miss the old spiceworks layout, i took serveral years off just because the new site just seemed like such a steep re learning curve. Also my new job has some spiceworks ticketing and KB so kinda force to be re introduced

It seems to be a little easier to level on the new site, so things are looking up in that regard.

Also, if you need help with the new site, please PM me and tell me your biggest challenges. I might not be able to help with everything, but I would be happy to find you a workaround to the things that are possible, since I have been finding them for myself. :slight_smile:

I have been at cayenne for a little while. :hot_pepper:
I also like the flavor of cayenne also a little chipotle… :yum:
add a little cayenne powder to brisket or smoked ribs… gives it a little kick…
