Add 2FA Authentication Options for Spiceworks Cloud Helpdesk. this will increase Spiceworks Cloud Helpdesk Security and also add another option to the IT Pros and make it standard for other parts of the Spiceworks site.

I would love to see this, in fact it should be a #1 priority on the end user security side in my opinion. Most security conscious organizations or regulated environments cannot use cloud solutions without 2FA. This should be standard for any cloud solution, especially those that may contain sensitive information (even if it’s simply network/asset/ or topology information in the tickets). Thanks for creating this request dbeato.

Spiceworks, you need to get this actioned.
How can IT professionals consider using your platform if basic security measures are not in place.

I approached my management team about migrating to Spiceworks helpdesk cloud system and I was shot down because Spiceworks does not support 2FA.

Showstopper for us.
Let us know once implemented.
Great system but can’t risk GDPR compliance by a user sending customer’s info on a ticket (screenshot from the operating system for example) and not protecting it with any security other than plain username and password.

Hi Spiceworks team we need to get this done before we are forced to look elsewhere for security

We really need this feature built-in. Too much critical information is shared through the ticketing system.

Is there any plan to implement the option for MFA when techs log into the cloud helpdesk?

MFA is required for everything on our network except SpiceWorks. We really need that feature to consider Spiceworks Cloud Helpdesk.

I was looking for MFA for my Spiceworks account today. I am a little surprised this has not been implemented.
maybe integrating the Spiceworks community accounts with AzureAD/Office365, Google Workspace, Ect. would enable this ?

I would like to see this at the top of the development list, this is becoming one of the most common practices out now.

I can’t believe this isn’t in place already. As a central hub for IT professionals in 2022, the lack of this feature is simply unacceptable.

Absolutely this must be enabled on a cloud based system, and especially since there is now no on-premise solution available. A fundamental security requirement. Thks

In agreement with all other comments. I am looking at using Spiceworks but I feel really uneasy with the fact there is no 2FA yet. I assumed this would be standard when signing up due to the nature of the service. Please jump this up the list!

Disappointing that spiceworks cloud does not have MFA. This is a requirement for our company - which means we can not use this application. Bummer
