I am working on setting up Spiceworks at my organization. I went and installed everything, but am getting issues when I am trying to scan the network. The following errors have popped up frequently for different devices:<\/p>\n

Authentication failed because no Windows account was specified \nSpiceworks works best running as a domain administrator.<\/li>\n
No open ports for this device were found to be responding. \nThis typically means that there is a firewall or permission issue preventing remote access.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

The first one is confusing as I had used the domain admin account and it worked for some machines and it checked out. However, now it seems that I cannot use that as its giving me the error, “check account, password or WMI configuration”.<\/p>\n
The second error is questionable as some devices were able to be scanned, while others were not. Our computers are managed with each computer having identical virus definitions and exceptions and each one having identical firewall settings.<\/p>\n
Any assistance anyone can give me in the setup of our inventory would be great!<\/p>\n
