Is your scan range set up correctly?

Are they all on the same domain?

Are they all switched on?

Hello, They are in the same domain and I have specified a range as well. They all are not ON at the moment.

Unless they respond to wake-on-lan (and you’ve set that) then how can they be scanned if they’re not on?

How often are they on, and how often do you run the scan? If the two don’t happen at the same time, they’ll never show.

I agree that if the machine is not ON it will not scan. Let me try to put wake-on-lan and then I try. Thanks.

Are all the machines on now? If so, just run a manual scan.

Can we apply wake-on-lan using group Policy? If yes, please let me know how can we do that…

I’m not sure how to go about doing it off the top of my head, but they’d need to be switched on first to update via GP so that won’t help if they’re not scanning because they’re never switched on (and that’s only if you have a PC capable of it)

Depends if WoL is enabled on the BIOS etc of course…

not standard way of doing this by the looks of it, although there’s this…

thanks alot. I shall work on it …

why not run the scan’s for these devices during the day when they are more likely to be on?

I can see the optinon

Wak-on-lan enabled / diabled in the Network scan option. I have turned it enabled and scanning the network. Hope it will work.
