Hi guys, I’m using logmein central, but it’s getting too expensive. Do you guys know of an alternative similar to logmein central but not so expensive?
Thanks.

Yes, indeed Splashtop Business now has been adopted by over 30k ex-LogMeIn Central customers Faster performance, more cost effective, and better customer support (I’m here ) Pricing info is below. Please give it a free test drive at www.splashtop.com/remote-support
based on # of computers, just like Central
If you don’t need to offer free secondary user remote access, you can also purchase based on # of technicians:

What are you waiting the solution to do?
There are lot of earlier discussion with the same concern which can be explored below. Please check, which suits you best to your requirement : LogMeIn raises prices again....alternative?
Hi,
I've just had an email informing me that LogMein will no longer be free. I use it quite often to remote into the servers from home and a few colleagues connect to their desktops. Can anyone recommend an alternative that is similar?
@GoTo @Bitdefender @Kaseya
So LogMeIn has decided to put the screws to it's loyal customers this year, and hit the ball out of the park with price increases. My subscription price is almost doubling, up 400% from it's original price a few years ago.
It's time to say goodbye. I don't stick with companies that gouge their loyal customers of many years. In addition, the product has been lagging behind the competition. Their copy/paste functionality has been pretty intermittent for years.
Intuit just learned what happens …
Alright, so I've been with LMI almost a year. Below are some of the pros and cons of the software from my use. Note, I've been using LogMeIn Central.
Pros:
Accessible from anywhere on any computer
Ability to manage clients into different groups (Such as by office, location, or network)
Integrates well with Hamachi (*noted in cons as well)
Unlimited users and active sessions
Group and User management is great and user friendly, doesn't need to be internal only
Deployment is fairly simple to …
If you are trying to manage jobs within the network, Lepide remote admin tool is available free with various salient features.

We moved to ScreenConnect from LMI and it has been glorious. Far cheaper and a vastly superior product.

Techinline’s FixMe.IT delivers similar functionality, but it’s far less expensive: you can manage up to 150 unattended computers and run unlimited number of concurrent support sessions for just $30 per month . What’s also important, one license is not tied to a specific user, so it can be shared between multiple techs. You can try it out free for 15 days here to decide if it’s a suitable alternative.
Been testing splashtop for a week now. A little immature compared to LMI . Coming from environment with ~100 vm/desktops/servers and a few remote admins.
Not great on virtual environment, unless you install a separate driver (sorta annoying)
random inability to connect (LMI just works in comparison)
Does not run well on older hardware (who does not have that ? )
splashtop business crashes 3x more often than LMI client
but $249 vs $699 a year for 100 desktops. Hate LMI pricing…wish Splashtop was more stable.

Sasha9, appreciate the feedback on Splashtop. We have continued to make significant improvement in reliability and performance (on older machine). Have you tried the latest v3 client and v3 streamer? The feedback from customers has been positive. We now have over 30k+ MSP customers and RMM partners that have integrated our product so reliability, and performance are top priority for us… besides remaining cost effective. Our feature set is comparable to Central Plus (file transfer, audio, HD, etc.) so Central Plus is more than $699 I believe…
Splashtop is maturing fast, with all your support and feedback. Thanks.

i am using all the latest version of client/streamer.
file transfer/audio/hd are great for end users. Admins…not that critical But I like it slightly better than screenconnect.
What are the next features/options you have coming out over 2016?

Sasha9, Understand you are using latest products. I have share your feedback with our product team. We are committed to continue to improve and enhance, and appreciate the ongoing feedback. We have been told file transfer is valuable for some admins… but agree, it’s not for all.
Regarding upcoming features/options:
Last month (Dec 2015), we launched Splashtop On-Demand Support (SOS) for ad hoc / attended / quick support, without installation of agents. It’s highly complementary to the unattended solution. Based on customer feedback, we are adding chat capability and a few other high value enhancements to SOS soon.
Splashtop Business will continue to improve in reliability and performance, as well as improve support for silent / automated update, and reboot. There will be enhancements on iOS and Android clients.
We will enhance integration with SpiceWorks and various RMM and PSA solution. More and more RMM solutions will simply bundle Splashtop with their offerings.
There are quite a few other enhancements coming, but I believe the product team is still finalizing priorities. We are always listening to customer feedback and re-prioritize as needed. Welcome all feedback.
