I just rebooted my entire machine and I thought I would be able to re-download spiceworks and still have all of my. information save. However, I am finding that it is not that easy since I didn’t “back up” my old files.
Is there anyway to retrieve my old information if I have already cleared my machine? At least get my reports of my old data from logging in?
Thanks

I think a backup would have been a good idea.
you can have it make a new scan…

Do you mean ‘re-installed’ or ‘re-imaged’ your machine? Rebooting shouldn’t have any effect.
You could possibly try Recuva to see if the SW database is still recoverable…
Otherwise, you’ll probably have to start from scratch & rescan.
I had some issues with viruses so I did a full re install of windows 7 on my machine. Everything was erased.
What are you guys referring to with the scan?
Was your Spiceworks server set to backup settings to a specific network location each day or just to your local machine? If everything was on your local machine, I’m thinking you may have to start from scratch unless you took an image of your computer before you did a re-install of the OS.
