Hi guys

Apologies if this question has been asked a million times. PC running Spiceworks was lost to virus and the spiceworks backup I had may have been misplaced somewhere safe but I can’t remember where.

I do have an image I’m able to explore of my virus riddled old C drive.

So to reinstall Spiceworks; assume I would go fresh and then hopefully somewhere on the image I just might be able to retrieve a backup of some sort to restore?

Quickest way would be to mount the drive with a Linux LIVE CD and copy the DATA & DB folders (or whole Spiceworks folder if you want) onto separate external drive.

Virus scan that drive and then install same version of Spiceworks on new machine and then rename DATA & DB folders and copy those folders from your external drive

{"@type":"Person
[{"@type":"Answer

Follow this guide, however SW should be installed on a dedicated PC or Server and not your daily use device, and not Windows 10 or Server 2016
