I cannot get Spiceworks scanning to work. I am running version 7.5.00093. What am I doing wrong? I tried an individual scan and that failed.

Hello Jackie,

I am sorry I did not include more information in my 1st message. The issue is not with unknown devices. The servers and PC’s I am having a scanning issue with are already scanned. They are just not updating. For example, I will update a application and the scan does not update the software version. I rebooted a server last night and it Spiceworks shows that the server has been up for 72 days.

Inventory software updates are not immediate, scans do delta scans by default (incremental), these types of changes happen on next full scan, if you want to force a client manually, click it in the inventory, then click the tools option followed by re-scan, check back in 20 minutes

How did you get on Jeff?

I believe it’s working. I had to delete the kudis.yaml file and delete all of my subnets. I then added only one subnet range and it’s working. I will add the other subnets later.
