I am testing network monitor, and was able to add my cisco switch stacks to the dashboard, but I am getting no data at all. Server data is updating nicely, but the switches are showing nothing. SNMP is open in firewall. Thanks for any insight.

I had the same issue when I first added my switches to the network monitor. When I got back to the office the next day, it was working just fine. Hopefully you’re having a similar issue.

Hey Moshe,
Do you know what version of the Network Monitor you’re currently running? You can check that on the Settings page in the bottom right-hand corner.

Just downloaded the latest version:
Spiceworks Network Monitor version 1.2.00195
It’s been a few days and no change. also, my switches are on another subnet, but snmp is open in firewall and i see packets flowing. also, snmpwalk on the spiceworks server to the switches is successful, so snmp is getting thru.
thanks,
Moshe

OK, after a few days and restaring the network monitor service, data has started to appear for some of the switches!

It sounds like the app may not have been communicating with the DB correctly. Are your switches showing up now, or is it still problematic?
