Another issue with ver 7 I have noticed is that network scan schedules are not available on my remote collector after upgrading to ver 7. Ideas?

Scanning has been redesigned. You now have fine grain control over what gets scanned and when.

This video explains it quite well:

Yes but shouldn’t the scan schedules option be available on my collector, its available on my main SW server? Just upgraded my server and collector to 7.0.01242 performance is still very slow when trying to open anything off of the Inventory, My Network menu.

It’s all controlled by your central SW server.

Ok, I guess I’m confused, on my collector I have the ability to set frequency’s just like I do on my central server.

No you’re not. I am. I mis-read your last post. You will need to adjust your network scans again just like you had to do on your main install. The way scanning was done prior has changed dramatically and you now have fine grain control over what is scanned and when (how often).

Ok thanks, so the schedules piece (see attach) will only show up on my central server?

Currently I have schedules disabled on the central server. Is it required or do I need to have schedules enabled in order to scan? Currently I have all my ip range frequency’s defined under “Your Networks” thinking for now this is all I need.
