I followed the trail for support and ended up seeing only one Q&A so posting here.

I’m trying to get my help desk upgraded today to the new “Help Desk Server for Microsoft Hyper-V”. I have Windows Server 2016 running Hyper-V and am needing some assistance with this. The instructions are not matching my OS setup and the VHD file when mounted is inaccessible.

Did you try support@spiceworks.com, that used to be valid.

@martinpeverley ​, I actually tried that first and got no reply.

I thought I had seen a different email this morning just for the new version but I can’t find it now.

@dbeato ​ I saw the first two, the setup page I saw back in October and was using the hyperv-install last month, which didn’t help as I don’t have that version of OS. I will try the again using the steps on the setup page.

No, I hadn’t seen the upgrade guide yet. That will come in handy, thanks.
