Hello Everyone!
I have been in the IT field for about 3 years now. I started in a large Healthcare facility where I was a Desktop Tech for 2 years, and then I jumped up to a System Administrator position for a smaller, local company.
I have been considering an IT business of my own (that is what I went to University to do), and I am in need of some advice on a good software to use.

I would like to manage 80-120 business endpoints, most likely from many different small businesses (unless I land a couple larger scale contracts).

My question to you all: Is there a good software out there that I could use to manage all these endpoints remotely from a single, central workstation (like my office) without having to actually remote into each computer individually?
Many of these small businesses don’t have their own servers, just a few computers on a basic, self managed network. I have looked at software like: LANSweeper, Solar Winds, ConnectWise, and a few others.

Is there anyone that has experience running a similar business that would be willing to offer advice?

Thanks in advance!!

Some of the more affordable ones to look at are Ninja RMM, Avast Managed Workplace RMM and one free one to consider is Comodo One.

I use SolarWinds N-central product and absolutely love it! Everything all in one stop shop and not expensive.

I will start looking into this today! Thank you.

I also use SolarWinds NCentral. No minimum licensing, and a good deal of management features that allow you to make bulk changes without the one-by-one logins. I trialed NinjaRMM and found that they are also pretty good, but there are some key benefits to NCentral that NinjaRMM was missing and I needed. I don’t remember the specifics of all of them, but a key one I needed was SQL performance metrics

I don’t think there’s a “perfect” one out there…yet…but yeah, check them out and find what works for you. N-Central was the best I’ve seen for the price, and still is two years later. They all have good things and things we wish we could improve. Best of luck and let us know any questions you have.
