Hi there,

I had a Spiceworks Inventory installation that I didn’t do much with for a while, but I refreshed the network scan to see if we had any Windows 7 boxes straggling out there. When the scan completed, there were several PCs listed as having Windows 7 that actually have Windows 10. I thought perhaps it just did an incremental scan even though the last one was several months ago, so I installed Inventory on my lab computer and did the scan again, and wouldn’t ya know it, it’s showing the same boxes having W7.

So that’s a bummer, since I can’t trust what it’s reporting at all now. Anyone have a quick remediation tip off the top of the noggin?

{"@type":"Person
[{"@type":"Answer
