I am looking for a way that my staff can enter hardware that needs to be purchased into 1 place. Like a list that I can look at and quickly make desicions on what we need to purchase ASAP.

Have them open tickets with the helpdesk and then add items to the purchase list in the ticket. Run a report of items needing to be purchased from SpiceWorks, review the list outputted.

Hi Bret, Currently there are no lists like this in spiceworks. You can associate a purchase with a ticket which may help. This would make a good feature request so you should enter a post at the link below

Thank you for your responce. Can you give me an idea how to run that report? I have done a few and don’t see a way to add a “Purchase List” field to the reports.

There is a default report called “tickets pending purchase” that loads with SpiceWorks that I was thinking of to meet your needs. If you don’t see it let me know and I will share it up to the community.
